Lost Then Found is an NFC dog tag service operated by Lost Then Found Dog Ltd, trading as Lost Then Found (company number 17206535), registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 4 Warwick Place, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 1EZ. We supply physical NFC tags and provide an online platform that allows dog owners to create a profile for their dog and receive alerts when the tag is scanned by a finder.

We do not provide GPS tracking, live location monitoring, or any guarantee that your dog will be found or returned. Lost Then Found is a tool to help - not a guarantee of any outcome.
Lost Then Found is not a microchip service, a GPS tracker, or an insurance product. Please note that under the Control of Dogs Order 1992, dogs in public places in England and Wales must wear a collar displaying the owner's name and address. How you satisfy that requirement is your responsibility.
You log in using a one-tap link sent to your registered email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure. If you lose access to your email or your account, contact us and we will verify your identity and help you regain access.
You are responsible for keeping your dog's profile accurate and up to date, including your contact details. We are not liable for failed notifications caused by incorrect information on your profile.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms without notice.
Notifications - including SMS and email alerts - are sent on a best-effort basis. We use third-party providers to deliver notifications and cannot guarantee delivery in all circumstances. Network issues, incorrect contact details, or third-party outages may affect delivery. We are not liable for any loss or harm resulting from a missed or delayed notification.
SMS alerts require a valid UK mobile number and are subject to network availability. We reserve the right to adjust notification methods as the service evolves.
When a dog is reported missing, owners may choose to send alerts to local vets, groomers, and pet shops registered on our Lost Alert Network within a 10-mile radius of the last known location. This feature is provided as a best-effort service only.
We do not guarantee that any particular vet, groomer, or business will be registered in the network near your location. Coverage varies by area and is dependent on businesses registering with us or being included in our database. We are not responsible for any failure to locate, alert, or receive a response from any business.
Registered businesses may unsubscribe from alerts at any time. Alert emails are sent once per missing incident and cannot be resent. Lost Then Found is not liable for any loss or harm resulting from a missed, undelivered, or unread alert.
Tags are £12, postage may apply and will be clearly explained on the order page before you buy. Payment is taken at the time of ordering. If your tag does not arrive within a reasonable time, get in touch and we will arrange a replacement.
Your first replacement tag is free of charge - a postage charge still applies. Replacements after your first are charged in full, tag plus postage.
Because each tag is pre-programmed and dispatched to your address, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once an order has been placed. If your tag arrives damaged or faulty, get in touch and we will replace it at no cost to you.
If you change your mind before your order has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to cancel it. We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order is in processing.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or your rights as a consumer under applicable UK law.
Lost Then Found is provided as-is. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the reliability, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of the service.

How we handle your personal data is covered in our privacy policy. By using Lost Then Found you agree to that policy.
Lost Then Found operates a customer referral programme. When you share your personal referral link and someone buys and claims a tag through it, that counts as one referral. The referred person receives £2 off their order. Referrals are counted per unique person - one person buying multiple tags counts as a single referral.
Referral tiers and rewards are as follows:
Tiers are calculated on a rolling 12-month basis from the date each tier is first reached. At the anniversary of hitting a tier, your referral count is recalculated. If it sustains your tier, benefits renew and a new reward code is issued. If not, you drop to the tier your count supports.
Reward codes for Tiers 1-3 are issued by email, are single-use, and are locked to your account email address. They can only be used for additional tag orders. Tier 4 vouchers are fulfilled manually and we will contact you to arrange them.
Referral discounts cannot be combined with other discount codes. If a discount code is entered at checkout, the referral discount does not apply.
Lost Then Found reserves the right to modify, suspend, or end the referral programme at any time and without notice. Changes will not affect rewards already issued. We also reserve the right to disqualify referrals that appear fraudulent or are generated through artificial means.
We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. If we ever close Lost Then Found permanently, we will give reasonable notice to all registered owners so they can make alternative arrangements. The profile URL on your tag is permanent for as long as the service runs.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
