How does the tag actually work?

The tag contains a small NFC chip. When someone holds their phone near it, the phone automatically opens your dog's profile page in the browser. No app needed, no QR code to scan. Once scanned, you instantly get a text message and/or email with their GPS location instantly. The email alert also contains a one-tap link that logs you straight into your account - no PIN needed in a crisis. That link is valid for 24 hours for security.
What if the finder's phone doesn't support NFC?

NFC is built into all iPhones from the 6s onwards and nearly every Android phone made in the last five years.
Can I have more than one dog on the same account?

Yes. Each dog gets their own tag and their own profile, but you log in with the same email and PIN. When you log in with multiple dogs on an account, you'll see a picker to choose which dog you're managing.
Will my phone number be visible to finders?

Never. Finders contact you through a messaging system on the profile page. You communicate back and forth without either side seeing the other's phone number. Your contact details stay private throughout.
How much information do I need to add about my dog?

All dog profile fields are optional. Add as much or as little as you like. At minimum a name and photo is enough - but things like health notes and microchip number can genuinely help a finder or vet if your dog ever gets lost.
I haven't received my tag. What do I do?

Tags are usually dispatched within a few days of ordering and delivered within a week. If yours hasn't arrived after 10 days, use the form on this page and we'll sort it out.
I've lost or damaged my tag. Can I get a replacement?

Yes.
Request a replacement here. You'll pay £2 postage. Your dog's profile, URL, and all settings are preserved - nothing changes from your dog's perspective.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?

Everything is permanently deleted - your profile, your dog's profile, scan history, and all messages. You can request deletion from the
privacy page or use the form here. We'll confirm by email before anything is deleted.
I'm a vet or pet shop. Can I stock tags?

Yes - we supply batches to partner practices and earn you commission on every tag claimed.

We'd love to hear it. Use the form and select Success story. If you consented to story sharing when you ordered, we may get in touch anyway - but you're always in control of whether it's shared publicly.
